So now the Head Coach that so far has two National Championships needs to change his goals for the team. How quickly we were spoiled. Steve Spurrier got a statue and Willy B got a big Chicken. Dabo got two National Championship trophys.

I think this is wry humor. Next season the top two teams play for the ACC championship, doesn't matter what division you are in.

That has not been the only goal, or ever been the only goal in Dabo's tenure.
1. Win the Opener
2. Win the Division
3. Win the State Championship
4. Win the Conference
5. Win the Bowl Game(s)

Dabo has repeated his 5 goals for the team many times. Your list is correct except #5. #5 has always been win the closer. Not the bowl game, not the Natty. Dabo has said win the closer means win your last game, regardless of whether it is a bowl game, a playoff game (there were no playoffs when he first made this list public), or the SC game so you have positive momentum going into the next year. I have never seen or heard Dabo mention a 6th goal. Not sure who that writer is but he needs to go back and read the sign again.
My OP was a tongue in cheek comment that he will need to change his goals. And he will, because goal #2 is no longer achievable since the ACC is doing away with divisions next year.

… it used to be “win the bowl game”, but when we won the bowl game and lost the National Championship in 2015, he changed it to “win the closer.” ?
