If it were ANY other player at any position including QB it wouldn’t be complicated. I don’t understand why DJ is completely off limits for anyone but every other player can be called out. His handling of DJ is so out of character it is puzzling

Dabo sees it as an extension of his game management mistakes and lashes out at anyone who criticises him, Streeter or DJ. Not the humble Dabo that started this great run. Power corrupts!

I believe he's all in on DJ because the plan was, after this year, one way or the other DJ was gone.

I believe Cade was been made aware of this also, which is why he doesn't seem as pissssed about playing time as most fans.

Dabo is a smart guy and knows he missed on DJ, but I think he believed with a veteran defense that he could make it to the playoffs, and at this point he believes he's protecting the kid.

In Dabo's eyes, he probably believed going into the SC game, DJ was undefeated this season because the defense lost the ND game in his opinion.
