Do we want him hiring a hoops coach for CU?
He won't (clearly) find anyone any better than Brownell.

I have always wondered if the main reason he got the CU job was because he had just rebuilt an arena at GT.

He won GT a ACC championship for first time since when? Been to the CG 2 of the last 5 years. Same as us.
You may dislike him personally, but he's not a bad coach.

didn't say we were. last thing we need to do is fire Brad. just making an observation about the guy doing the hypothetical replacement hire.

Radakovich hired Brian Gregory, but he'd inherited an

almost intolerable situation with Paul Hewitt. The previous AD had an automatic 3year increase put into Hewitt's contract so that regardless of when he wa s let go, GaTech still owed him 3 full years salary. Gregory's certainly not setting the world on fire (although he has had some significant injuries this season), but Hewitt was recruiting some serious talent out of basketball hotbed Atlanta and losing games and players. I think Hewitt's last season, he was 13-18. GaTech is currently paying two different individuals a full-time head basketball coach salary.
Radakovich made his reputation more as a financial wizard than anything. He paid off what was a stifling debt at GaTech during his tenure there, put the athletic department in the black and started a program of facility improvement. You know how that impresses the Clemson BOT.

Gregory is a good coach... GT might be a worse job than ours

You have campus and academic hurdles, they have almost no fan support and you're slap dab in the middle of ATL... How can you get them in and how do you keep them out of trouble?

have you looked at GT's recruiting as of late?
I am pretty sure we have the better coach. Brownell has not lost to the jackets in 8 games.
