Should anything be changed with the layout of the postseason or anything? An SEC team has won the CWS 5 of the last 6 CES played.
I am one who just believes the best team wins and blame should never be placed on level of playing field. But even with the stat I mentioned, SEC teams still make up majority of the 8 teams in Omaha every year.
This isn’t some sort of SEC troll job, I’m just curious as to how to they can adjust things like they’ve done with College football to even things out.

Why should it be evened out? Has the B12 or P12 deserved spots every year in the CFP just to make things even?
Facts are pretty simple here...beat them. We had a shot, it didn't work out, and Tennessee represented the SEC instead of Clemson representing the ACC. It's not because they had some advantage or bias; they just beat us.

Not debating that. There’s just been a flux of SEC teams making it and winning it recently, and it’s just made me question things that are happening.

Agreed, I think the SEC/Stankey has made it a point to spend FB money on baseball and other sports to strengthen the conference. They just have more teams willing to spend the money on baseball so have more in the regionals etc.. We just should have beat UT.

Most of their teams somehow host the regionals and super regionals. No coincidence there.

Having traveled around the country, they have the best venues for the most part. Taking that big SEC TV money, schools like Kentucky, Texas A&M, LSU, Florida, South Carolina, etc didn’t renovate their ball parks, they built new ones. The SEC has spread that money throughout their other sports as well as their campus buildings. Having far less money in the ACC, we put ours into football to stay competitive.

Funny, where did we get the money to build the $40m basketball operations and practice facilities currently going up? Also who paid for the $17mil renovation of Littlejohn a few yrs ago? Not from our bball revenues.

True. But that’s not close to what SEC schools are doing.

I think the OP means it’s the most teams out of any other conference in the CWS.

IDK if they can change the actual format much, but the biasness on how they gave 8 of the 16 regionals to SEC teams is a bit much, it was especially a reach giving the last 2 to SC and Bama when there were more deserving teams. Then spreading the others around Like Tenn who could've very well been a host, but sticking them in the 4 seeds bracket. If they were ranked in the top 20 then they should've been in the 10th-16th seeds bracket. Some of it just makes no sense. But the only that can change is how they do the seedings, the regional, Supers, and CWS format will probably forever be the same.

It almost makes it impossible for at least one SEC team not to make the Championship game with how they spread them out in the seeding and so many host.

Yeah I don’t care what people say, Tennessee obviously made it to Omaha and was an extremely talented bunch. They should not have been in our regional.
Seems like the committee tried to cover it up with putting 2 mid majors as the #3 and #4 seeds in our regional. Trying to cover up putting in a team that was clearly as good if not better than Clemson.
But with the hosts, I understand that they want to pick teams that are most likely to win. And those teams unfortunately are definitely in the SEC. But SCar shouldn’t have hosted when looking at if they deserved to or not. But then again, they made it to the super.
