Rumor and just may be a rumor of noon kickoff for USC game. Anyone else heard this? Difficult to believe that two teams ranked this high would get the noon time slot.

I could see maybe a 3:30 with Ala Aub as the night game...a game like GT UGA and those will prob get the 12 slots...Oregon OSTate who else is there that should be decent...FL FLstate wont be close but prob be 3:30

ESPN is not going to bury this game on the Deuce unless they do that whole reverse mirror deal, which is a possibility for 3.30. But I don't think they do that because it puts us up against Auburn/Bama and that would mean splitting the Southeast. If they put our game on at Noon, they'll get most of the eyeballs that are going to watch Auburn/Alabama too.

I wouldn't be shocked to see this as a Noon kick on ESPN. National audience and you don't have to compete with Auburn/Bama at 3.30 (CBS). I think FSU/UF will get the 7pm spot on ESPN, only because FSU is in line to play for the title.
So, to sum things up, I think a nooner is a very strong possibility.

USC fans hate noon games and rarely have to suffer through them
The Miss st game had a decent crowd but it was a very odd mix, nobody showed up until kickoff and it was eerily quiet at times in the stadium
That would be a benefit to any visiting team. The national home game win streak has to be based on numerous night games with a roudy crowd, not a weak disinterested noon crowd

ABC has no access to SEC games. There is no way the game can be on ABC at all, not at Noon or 8PM
The most likely game time is either 700 on ESPN2 or 745 on ESPN. I would bet 95% on one of these times.
Auburn Bama is the CBS game. no way CBS passes on this.
UGA is at Ga Tech making it a ACC TV game. Bet on 330 on ABC.
Ohio St Michigan play the ABC noon game
Notre Dame at Sanford is the 8PM ABC game
That leaves 3 SEC games at the top of the list
S Carolina / Clemson
Texas AM / Mizz
Florida / FSU
2 of these game will be on ESPN 7 / ESPN 745. ESPN takes Florida and USC games and places these here.
Fox Sports Net has the 4th choice. They take TAM and MIZZ and place it at 7 on FSN
SECTV goes next and picks Tenn and Vandy
ESPNU has the rights to a 330 game and take Wake and Vandy
USC and Clemson is almost guarenteed a 7 or 745 time.
