and they are really the Charlotte Panthers. Grew up a steelers fan, Atlanta was a non factor in the 70's. I like it when any Atlanta professional team does well

Then they crushed my childhood dreams several times in a row in the SB in the 90s. Moved to NC right when Panthers were started so have been a Panthers fan ever since.
Hate the Dirty Birds... ??

For the Falcons too unless they played Miami. Growing up in Anderson County the Dolphins and Falcons were always on TV.
I've been to several Pathers games when they play Miami, Atlanta and Tampa Bay. If you want a great game the Panthers and Tampa hate each other.
I'm much more of a Clemson fan than any pro team. The college game is fun to watch.

Was a Falcon and still am. Panthers came in 94 or so and I was already 18 and in the military, so the regional thing did not matter. I would be more of a Panther fan if they were AFC.

I hate the CHARLOTTE panthers, always have.(yes, I know they played their first year at Death Valley after Mike McGee said no at Cooterville)The Falcons have 2 former Tigers and the the panthers have Scam Newton....no question which team I like!

Chose the Cowboys in mid-70s, just before they drafted Tony D. My dad was not happy with me.
Then the Panthers came along about the same time Dallas turned into punks. I remember wondering which team I'd pull for if/when they played each other, and that question was answered when Lamar Lathan slammed Deion Sanders (playing receiver) to the ground and I reacted like I do when Clemson scores a touchdown in a rivalry game.
So I guess I became a Panthers fan by default, but I don't go to many games, and my only real interest in NFL these days is keeping up with Clemson players. I did play fan duel this week. First fantasy football I've done in over 18 years. Played $10 across four games and won $32. So now I'm into it a little, but not excited about it like back in the 70s and 80s.
