believe there is a bias, this was from the end of the Ohio State/Penn State game:
"Now we've seen everybody accross the country, we saw Clemson earlier this year, the one-point CLOSE game against North Carolina, we've seen LSU on the road in Tuscaloosa come through with a huge win, and now we've seen Ohio State in this top 10 matchup; answer the call, answer the adversity (some self inflicted), but partner, this is still in my estimation the best team in the land".

point. It's still up to a group of people known as The College Football Playoff committee. They alone determine who gets in. They are influenced by other polls and the media narrative. You'd have to be brain-dead or naive to believe otherwise. It will be hard for them to deny us this year if we win out, but other teams who need it may not get a fair shake, and we may need a fair shake in years to come.

Yes I am sure a room full D1 ADs is a bunch of brain dead folks that just listen to the media. Get a clue dude. Why y'all so sensitive of people saying OSU is possible the best team this year? They have one of the best QBs and one of the best defensive players in the country. They have as much talent as any team including us when u look at recruiting. So why so butthurt? Ofcourse I think we would beat them but to think it's crazy for people to think they could beat us is just obsured to me.

You did say that, "it's almost a certainty" followed by, "the fate is in the hands of the committee".
It would certainly seem you're tying those two things together, otherwise who cares what the committee is swayed by at this point in the season? Win and we're in, period. No need for all the gnashing of teeth. At least that's my opinion. No big deal. I'm pretty sure everyone knows the selections are made by the committee and they may be influenced by the talking heads, but at this point it just doesn't matter. Sorry for using, "brain dead" and "naive".. I only used the words you did. My bad.

Tin foil hat? I'm just stating a fact - the committee ultimately decides who makes the playoff. I'm in no way suggesting that we will get left out of the playoff this year if we win out. If that's what you are reading into it, you have misunderstood. I'd simply like to have a responsible media who does not take cheap shots at Clemson while all but performing oral seks on their favorites.

Opposite of the announcers on the Northwestern/Minnesota game. They were saying that Clemson and Ohio State were the best teams hands down. Gave a lot of praise to the Tigers. That was on ABC.

ANALysts, primarily because (if I recall correctly) in all of our CFP appearances, save one, Clemson has not been favored due to the "superiority" of our opponents.
Yet, we have two national titles in the past three years. And, my Friend, that's all the commentating I care about.

This year, we'll be alright as long as we win every game; there may come a time when we need a fair shake, however. Having announcers that go out of their way to dis Clemson is wrong. Clemson deserves a little more respect after the accomplishments you mention anyway.

top 3 in the country, and quite honestly, no one has looked as good as Ohio State. Imo, they are the clear #1 team, but it will be hard for them to beat the SEC bias.
I agree that media, in all areas, should be more cognizant of spouting over inflated opinions and outright bias, but in this case I just don't see the "slight".

When summarizing the seasons of the top three, they only mention our worst game of the year, and only mention the biggest wins of the year for each of the other two, as if that somehow tells the story. It's a bogus characterization of our football team and the season they've had.
