Probably did.He was trying to slow Clemson's tempo and rhythm,as well as preseve timeouts.
Thing was he was able to get away with it allthough it did not change the outcome.

It helped Clemson get more plays called with all the clock stoppage time. It hurt his team in the long run.

No! You guys gotta understand, we had that LSU defense on the field for over a 100 plays...they are used to the standard 50~75 plays a game. They were nearly on the field for an extra 1 1/2 quarters. The offense just wore this defense down. Proud of them.

...they were winded and cramped up like heck. We outlasted them. I'll go along with Swinney's statement about Batson and getting these guys physically ready.

"injuries" were legitimate cramps or bruises, they took three times longer than they needed to get their thugs off the field. It was bogus all the way around. Nothing but unofficial time outs.
