Curious as to how USuC is going to look recruiting wise...

when all these guys don't get in...does anyone know when that actually happens, I have heard that most of them are 4* guys they were pretty high on so I would think it would drop their class ranking down pretty low right...or being that they are in the mighty SEC maybe 10-12 of their guys are equal to about 20 of ours haha

uh that number is already 4. joe blue did get cleared. being from dillon he will be on spurriers list next year.

oh ok well I guess its not near as bad as I thought..i was under the impression it was about 7 or 8 that may not get in..even so I would think 4 4* players not getting in would hurt rankings a little

Who are the 4? Wideman and Sawyer are prep placements. The latest our site has reported is that the rest have qualified but their last ACT attempt has to be cleared by the clearinghouse. That's not the same as not qualifying. When Andrew Pinnock was a freshman he qualified late and was in school and practicing but the clearinghouse didn't get him cleared till after week 4. Hopefully, there will not be such a delay this time. Wideman and Sawyer hurts somewhat but we really need the young cornerbacks cleared. At least two will probably play. I thought Joe Blue was a clearinghouse problem too, but I may be mistaken.

More than a third of South Carolina’s 2014 football recruiting class is in jeopardy of not qualifying academically.
South Carolina signed 21 players last February, and eight members have yet to enroll at the SEC school, assistant Steve Spurrier Jr. told The State’s Josh Kendall.
The start of football practice is only a few weeks away.
Several of the endangered signees are from the Atlanta area, including M.L. King High School cornerback Wesley Green. He’s one of three cornerbacks waiting to get through admissions.
“We would like to hope that least two out of three (cornerbacks) are going to make it,” Spurrier told The State. “That’s a pretty critical area for our 2014 season getting those guys here.”
Former North Gwinnett High School defensive end Dante Sawyer announced two weeks after signing day that he wasn’t going to make it. Sawyer went ahead and graduated with his GED; he reported to a junior college in February with the hopes of transferring to South Carolina in time for the 2015 season.
Defensive end Jhuastin Thomas has signed with South Carolina twice, out of Columbia High School and junior college. His chances of playing for the Gamecocks “appear to be done” after not qualifying again.
Final decisions for all eight players will be made within the next few weeks.

Of the 8, four have been ruled out and only Joe Blue has gotten in. I hope you bat a 1000 on the final 3 in.

I forgot Thomas. Never thought he would get I'm so wasn't counting him. So Thomas, Wideman, Sawayer, and who else is confirmed not getting in?

Blue is in. I think 2 have the test scores but jumped too high so had to retake the test.
They are stuck in NCAA Compliance purgatory.

Forgot Ritchie too. Hope the clearinghouse doesn't drag their feet on the defensive backs. While I think they have gotten better they are notoriously slow in their processes and we need those guys in.
