Will this bowl game be a turning point? I don’t know…

Kentucky isn’t a powerhouse…they are a decent team in a top heavy conference…

Regardless - so much of winning is believing that you can and knowing what it takes…

During our championship years - those teams always believed they were going to win and never stopped fighting …
People forget that not every win was a blowout…

I hope yesterday was a marker for our young players - something they can use to grow …

Certainly there are issues that need fixing to get back to championship football..

We’re basically already there on defense.. and Dabo is addressing our issues on offense…

But beyond that - the mental aspect ..the belief you can win and the knowledge of what it takes only comes with experience…here’s hoping yesterday was just that …

Spot on! That's a huge part of it, and we saw in the 2nd half of the season,

this team showed they have the grit and the never-say-die mentality. That will serve them well once they get a few more pieces to the puzzle.
