That I claimed this was an Omaha team after the WF series.
If you were also one of the only people to know this and kept spreading positivity about the team during their slump, you deserve to be noticed and you should reply on this post.
Not trying to brag about being right, but when you back your team when you know their potential even when they are doing rough, that is one of the best parts about being a fan. And then if you are right, you should be known for the support you gave.
Additionally, I don’t think I’ve ever been so calm and non worried about a big baseball game like today. It’s just a fact that no one will stop us.

I realize my ways with this post, and I appreciate this truly.
But the point was really just to bring together the people who have kept faith in this program, and saw the best in a rough situation. These are the fans that have a positive lasting effect on players for Clemson.
These are young men, but they’re intelligent. I assure you they are led by Bakich to not worry about outside noise, but that noise is still there and they notice it.
Forget about players not appreciating positive support. We are all taught, especially athletes, to not put too much thought into positive or negative comments about the team, but positivity does help these young men.
Just remember for those of you who like to sit around and trash on Clemson’s 1st year coach not even through his 1st year, or Caden Grice when he couldn’t hit a bowling ball in the middle of the zone, y’all are poison to these players and staff. They see and know what you say.

I too sang praises supporting them . . . but in NO WAY did I sing anything about Omaha . . . I was hoping to get into the ACC Tournament and let the chips fall where they may . . .

Look throughout the thread and you’ll notice what my purpose is with this post. Like I said, I would’ve liked to bring the people who have always believed together.
Regardless of me, you’re right about streakiness. But this isn’t really some “streak”. The fact that we’ve won 15 in a row doesn’t even concern me. Because we’ve been this good the whole time. Just needed to adjust a few things, and finally getting Caden on the mound again.

I was also one of the ones who kept a positive attitude towards this team the whole season. I knew this team had what it takes to win.

I would never take any credit just for believing in Coach Bakich from the day he was hired. And, later when he said we had talent, they just needed work from the neck up. Kudos to the Coach, the assistants, and his players for righting the ship.

I was optimistic about the team and especially the future, but I think anybody calling for this Clemson team to be in Omaha 25 games in, had some seriously orange colored glasses. The fact that we are now among the favorites to make it doesn't change that. People were understandably frustrated, and some said things that I am sure that they would like to take back, but if they are Clemson fans they are happy that they were wrong.
I am happy that you were so optimistic and correct but simply because you were correct. If somebody was pessimistic, but excited at the prospects of making it to Omaha now then I am good with that too.
