I don't recall any kick off returns by either team.

Most complete game of excellence of the year, when it made the difference in a National Championship. Must have been scripted!

Nyles Pinckney broke thru THREE blockers to make the tackle. Don't short-change him on that fantastic play.

We'll never know how important

Spiers' flipping the field on his first punt was. I was concerned about giving a short field to Bama, but Will took that concern, wadded it up and tossed it in the trash can!

Defense was a solid A++++

as good as the offense was, the defense was better!
Look at the stops! Who else thought "Bama at the 7 yard line, gonna be a touchdown" and it didn't happen OVER AND OVER!!
We've seen offenses collapse and give up, but this was the BEST OFFENSE IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND and the defense OWNED, PWNED and DRONED them!

A 15 game season, first in history since football...

progressed from using an animal bladder for a ball, a string of 20+ point wins including in the playoff, a QB performance from a freshman to which many are touting as the second coming of a child birthed by Johnny U and John Elway, media talk of a Clemson dynasty and most our fans know the birth happened half a decade ago, ESPiN making excuses for the end of their and SEC's love child ending their fake dynasty made possible by a fake MNC system which found patsies for SEC opponent, a coaching staff which has not lost a major factor over that period, Clemson proving that high school player evaluation services have failed at their jobs due to their #1 ranked team splitting Playoff finals with one always ranked 5 or more spots behind, all but one of the skilled players returning and an expected starting O-line with nothing but seniors who have been recruited by that steady Eddie coaching staff and developed by the same men and system which got this team the longest winning streak in football and you degrade this team with a lowly A?
Thumb Down and Report Abuse on Tnet writers!

About as perfect as a season gets. The only glitches? KB leaving mid-season and Ostarine. But those two were like spitballs against a battleship. The Tigers simply would not be denied.

I recall the TNET article during spring practice when the reporters looked at each other and said, wow. Y'all saw then this was a special team. Spot on.

What I like best

Is Coach Venebles ability to make changes as the game progresses and shut down other teams offenses almost instantly! Bama came out fired up early in the game and, all of a sudden, they did basically nothing for three quarters. We have seen that a lot from him. Notre Dame got off to a good start and, then, suddenly...... nothing!
A missed extra point in a four TD win against the “champions” is the low point for Clemson. I’ll take that every game.
