So I did not graduate from Clemson but I've been a fan since I was probably 7 (1979), so I have a more time and emotion involved than a lot of you who will flame me. I remember the hard years, I remember the heartbreak of always ready for next year because maybe it'll be different. And I easily happily remember the years that we we were winning, but this year has made me so angry, I don't understand how every group of the Tigers team has been so sporadic in their play.
We have very talented players so I can only blame coaching, in this horrible up and down year. I do not understand how the game planning is not better, special teams started well but turned out to be lacking. The offensive line was not very good (and getting pushed around probably attributes to strength And conditioning), so a mediocre quarterback at best could not get time to throw the ball. Defense was so-so but got burned at the most inopportune moments to get roasted for points.
Just...Angry.
I understand trying to prepare these young Folks for the future, but still....you get paid handsomely to win, and if you're not putting everyone in your program in a position to win then why are you coaching?
No one cares about an ACC title because US and Carolina in the ACC championship...., the game is JUNK!
Dabo I love you as a Christian but I don't understand not putting in another Quarterback or maybe hiring outside of the program for better coordinators or SAC. (maybe loyalty I don't comprehend.)
I fly a Clemson flag outside of my home as I type this and I ponder about the second half play of todays game...no defensive stands and a lethargic offense at best, we couldn't throw the ball with our quarterback because the quarterback and O Line could not be successful, not to mention loose handed special teams. How do you go from prime time to this?
I shouldn't even post this, I'm a laborer in life and I'll never earn the kind of cash that these coaches make but I'm passionate about Clemson, and will always be. Take it easy on me, my Tiger Family I just needed to vent.....GO Tigers! P.S. Bad on recruiting also.
