Could Wake be undefeated...

when they come to Clemson on 11/16?
Looking at the schedule, it's not as crazy as it sounds.

Certainly they could. The real question is whether they

will garner any respect along the way.

I'm pretty confident they will start 4-0

Not very confident that they are good enough to start 8-0.

Well, all the mainstream media will say is “ their schedule is even easier than Clemson’s” giving a knock on both teams!

No, it is ever crazier than it sounds.
What is Wake's longest win streak in a season, 5 or 6? 8-0 would nearly make that team one of Wake's all time best.

Wake's toughest games seem to be trips to BC and VT. If they only lose one of those, they could be top 10 that late in the season.

Hmmm, guess Wake just needs to be better than Kansas and Furman. ??

Even if Wake is 7-1 or 8-1, they will not be in the top 10.

I think they can. I like how the QB plays and they have a couple of trees for WR's. 6'3 is the short guy. The other guy Washington is 6'5 and uses his body well to hold off defenders. If they don't start reading their own press clippings or getting to ahead of themselves and play to their capabilities: sure! It's hard to do though; even for really talented teams. Wake is more blue collar "self-made veteran types" opposed to being young and super talented. They may have the leadership to keep the ball rolling until they reach DV.

No matter what Wake does - there might be no room for them anywhere in the Top 25 - - as long as they keep putting SIX Pac 12 teams in there.

All I know is we need to prepare for Wake during the week we play them and we need to focus all of our attention that week on beating them. Coaches around here get fired for losing to Wake and I'd hate to see Dabo lose his job.

Tigers are going to beat Wake only slightly less than last year! But, it will still be a dominant Tigers win. Not overconfidence; just watching Wake a bunch this season tells me that.
They are better than last year; just not deep! As football seasons go on nicks and injuries start and they aren't deep enough to deal with that.
