No need to fire Muschamp, next year is gone already. Recruiting is gone, players have quit. One year won't matter because they can't get anyone better now anyway.

Fire Muschamp after next year. Fire Tanner now so that the new AD has a year to find a replacement.

Hire someone like the kid from Charlotte. Understand that there will be 2-3 bad years, but start building the right way. Before you know it, you are back to 6 or 7 win seasons and holidays in Shreveport.

They won't do that though. They will hire their 4th choice big name coach again and stay on their 5 year cycle.

The majority of their fans seem to believe the Gamecock job is a magnet for the top coaches. But what coach would want to go there when it is the graveyard for coaches. No other coach has been lured away from South Carolina to go elsewhere during their entire existence. There have been too many coaches who were successful at one school but a failure at another. There is no sure thing in the coaching world. All one need do is check out the "hot seat" list. Many of our own fans were not happy with Dabo's hire but look where we are today.

Their culture is so toxic and backward (beginning with the idea that "farmers are morons", etc...) they can't help what they are.

There's no fixing that kind of ignorance.

They should move to another conference like the Sun Belt where they could play weaker teams like Appy State. Oh wait...
