How electric would the stadium be Saturday if at the top of the hill

The players showed some emotion like the James Davis days? Go to YouTube and look up “2007 Clemson vs FSU- Running Down The Hill”.

I wish our players would come to the top of the hill and do more than just lock arms while Dabo claps and pumps ppl up. The running down the hill tradition has turned in to the Dabo show. Players just stand there with arms locked while Dabo tries to get the crowd up. And the crowd cheers for like 2 seconds and then it’s just the band playing waiting for the cannon

Show the current players how electric that entrance was when they showed emotion and came to the top of the hill jacked up. Half of the team was almost half way down the hill before the cannon ever went off. It was literally our strength coaches trying to hold our players back from getting on the field. Now it’s Dabo clapping for 2 minutes while all eyes are on him

I agree. Against Louisville they walked down the hill showing low energy and apathy. Howard’s Rock should remind them to put 110% in or go home. Do it for those who ran down that hill and protected this house before. Do it for the 80k+ in attendance. While we’re at it, quash the woo-hoo. They need to realize how much of an honor it is to wear that uniform and run down that hill.

I'm assuming they walk down the hill because...

.... they don't want to tear an ACL jumping off the level ground in the middle and landing wrong.

Remember when the Tampa Bay kicker tore his ACL and ruined his career because he was doing a soccer-style celebration after making a FG.

That's not really an issue...

They've been running down the Hill for almost 60 years, for many of those decades more rowdy than tame, and I think only 2 injuries ever. That's not to say they should be wise about it - but there's a big gap between galloping and jumping wildly vs being sedate and pedestrian. They don't need acrobatics up there, but they do need spirit. Watching Dabo wave his arms around and clapping is very bland and weak.

correction: "shouldn't "
