Louisiana Crab Boil, add some bay leaves with dash of Old Bay. Bay leaves make a big difference. Louisiana Crab boil has lot more flavor and is touch spicier than either you mentioned. They have a spicy Louisiana Crab Boil that is hot, I like about 1/3 Spicy and 2/3 regular but most my group like spicy. I suggest regular first go around but I promise ypu will like.

I do like adding a few punctured cans of spare guts to soak in flavor that works well.
I've used both, and not a big difference. I'd guess Zatarans has a touch less salt.
You're gonna be fine either way!

Canned foods are processed in the can so the cans have already been heated at least once.

At lady's Island who claim it was originally frogmore stew.
You guys sound like a bunch of Georgia football players arguing over who gets to pimp slap the stripper.

Remember what shakespear said A boil by any other name tastes just as good.

Little fresh seafood market in Murrells Inlet (can't remember the names) sales a mix called Jay-O and is the best I have had. As mentioned above the OG Two Step is great as well.

StaleKracker 2 Step Seafood Seasoning is pretty good. This dude is wide open but he has several videos on seafood boils. Im sure his cooking is a little spicier than some like but Im a fan of spicey.

If I remember correctly, it was started by a former Clemson Football player.
Now, I use Old Bay. However, I have both Tony Sachery and Zatarain's in my spice rack.
