Wonder if he’ll get in touches for A & M Saturday. I remember being kinda bummed when he decommited but boy was that a blessing in disguise.

Etienne has been a great addition to Clemson. Hopefully Richardson finds his way as well and it is win win for everyone.

We had to withdraw his offer

His high school was caught building fraudulent transcripts to keep their athletes eligible. I believe this was the same high school that was involved in the Albert Means scandal. For some reason I want to say Hugh Freeze was their coach at the time.
I hated that for him because I got the impression that he had no idea he was being used in that way. I think he really thought he was making decent grades.

Actually Hugh Freeze, strangely, wasn't involved in this one, or the Albert Means case, but yes, Tresevant High was cooking kids' transcripts, which left Richardson inelegible and holding the bag - he had to go to JUCO - and it was also the coach of Tresevant that put Albert Means up for "auction" in 2001, I believe, that almost got Alabama the death penalty because they paid him $160K.
So that school has a sordid history.

And I knew for sure there was some link to Albert Means. Not sure why I connected Hugh Freeze but it seemed right. Maybe he just stopped by to harass their secretaries a couple of times.

I agree, it was sad for him but it worked out super well for us to get etn at the last minute and I think Cordarian has done well too.

as it looks like he was an innocent victim. But if Clemson cant get him how come A&M can? Isnt there a minimum standard for admissions of athletes? Not saying we werent right here given what happened. Does the other school just say we're taking him consequences be darned

He went to JUCO, then another school, then to A&M.
