Coots do not intend to drop future games with CU if the SEC

goes to 9 conference games. The games I would worry the most about losing is LSU in 25 and 26 and future home and home games against UGA (29,30,32,35). I would think UGA next year is probably safe since it's a neutral site opener in Atlanta. It's going to be tougher for teams like UGA to balance their schedule with home/away games with 9 conference games and instate rival GT to schedule too. UGA has the neutral Florida game in Jacksonville as well. They could possibly end up with only 4 or 5 home games in certain years. If any of these SEC schools drop our games I hope CU is working on a back up plan to replace them with another P5 team. Something to watch closely as LSU is only 2 years away.

I don't blame them for playing 9 conference games.

Every win is a top ten win and every loss is a good loss. Heads they win, tails everyone else loses. I'd like to have some of that!

I am sure we will continue to play them, but doubtful it will remain last game of the year. Stankey says he wants the last game of the year to pit SEC teams against one another.

Since ESPN controls both the ACC and SEC TV money it's my guess the 4 instate ACC-SEC rivalry games will not be moved from the rivalry week TV inventory to another week. They love that theme on the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The coots used the sec to avoid Clemson in 2020

I believe we have a couple games with Oklahoma that also might be at risk the next few years.

lot more likely that these schools would drop a "cupcake" game, and keep the matchup against a highly rated Power 5 oppenent, since one loss would not kill your playoff chances. I could be wrong, though. I thought I was wrong about something back in '75 or '76, but I was wrong about being wrong.
