COOTS AT WORK...

Sep 8, 2015, 12:05 PM

I'm sorry guys. I've been trying to get a rise out of the Coots since their game last Thursday night, but to no avail.

You'd have thought they lost like they did in last year's opener. All I get is a bunch of mumbling to each other about how bad they were. Today, all they'll talk about is NASCAR. They don't even want to discuss football.

There was one conversation I heard though:
COOT 1: What did you think about Connor Mitch?
COOT 2: Probably about as much as Spurrier did. He played about a half dozen different people at quarterback because they all sucked.
COOT 3: Yea, we're gonna get our a$$ killed this year.

COOTS AT WORK...my experience

Sep 8, 2015, 12:09 PM

Coot: "Would you like fries with that order, sir?"
Me: "No thank you."

Strange. The Coots I have talked with have said how amazing their defense performed and that Connor Mitch played a helluva game after he calmed down. I watched the entire game and with the exception of Skai Moore catching 2 balls that hit him between the numbers, I didn't think their defense did all that much to stop UNC. And Connor Mitch would probably not even be allowed to run the scout team at Clemson based on what I saw against a mediocre UNC defense. If you can get any semblance of a rush on Mitch he is going to wilt like the delicate little flower he is.

What were the coots doing at your work? I didn't know they could work, thought they were all disabilities like their HBC and QB. Though the HBCs is self-inflicted by the overconsumption of alcohol

Wow. It sounds like you actually work with some decent

gamecock fans who see reality for what it is. Not the delusional bunch I'm used to.

My Coot friends know $CU got totally out-played by UNC....

If Marquis Williams doesn't go completely brain dead and Larry Fedora doesn't pull a Mike Bobo by inexplicably sitting Elijah Hood with the game on the line, the Tar Holes easily win that game by two or three scores.

Get those RCDC inmates back to the lot on Morehead and Cedar and get their trash outta the lot. CMPD ran 'em off before the start of the 4th quarter. 23 cases of Bud and 19 bottles of un-opened Vodka and a lot of opened stuff left....
