Not sure why folks bother those yard chickens though, they're soooo far in the rear view mirror for us

You must have not been around between 2009-2013 then. This board was infested with coots talking crap. Many, many photos with Dabo and them 5 bombing. Go read the article someone just post from Scott Hood in 2013 claiming South Carolina was widening the gap from between Clemson.
My opinion, Clemson fans haven't come close to throwing this in the face of coot fans as much as deserved.

Eh I was most certainly around and I feel ya... I'm sure petty looks better on us than them...
Just not my style
I'd rather worry about programs that are worthy of our energy

It's not pettiness. It's payback. You don't have to join in.

Awesome comments. One guy just says they need a bag man

and another says "Clemson can buy all the five stars they want."
They are completely deluded. No idea what Dabo has created at Clemson in terms of culture and facilities. Their analysis stops at "they must be paying them." Which works out great for us because they'll never call for a similar overhaul of their system or they'll be on probation (aaaaagain) very soon. Probably both.

Everybody else also finds it remarkable that we're winning with such small recruiting classes that lack the truly "elite" 5-star talent of places like Alabama.
We recruit well, but nobody would accuse Dabo of recruiting to the level of a lot of Top-10-level programs. He had the #8-rated class way back in 2011 per rivals...when we signed 29 guys, and the #4-rated class in 2015 when we got 25, the only two 25+ classes Dabo signed. Other than that we've been recruiting in the mid-teens, which is decent, but on paper is also nowhere near enough to be playing for two straight national titles like we did. I even remember reading some posts on Elevenwarriors.com - Ohio State's big football forum - wondering aloud just how Clemson was winning so much without recruiting like a superpower.
A lot of SEC purists think Dabo either got lucky by having such a transcendent QB in Deshaun Watson, or that he just got lucky by hitting on some elite players in general, and that he can't possibly sustain what he's doing because he just doesn't recruit like an Alabama, an LSU, a Georgia, a Texas A&M. And out of the other side of their mouths we have to endure these endless conspiracy theories from Chicken fans talking about all the players we're buying.
Make up your mind, guys. Seriously.

We know the key to success is getting solid young men and developing them into the best. It's why Beasley is a better NFL player than doo doo ice. Look at the progress Nuk made, and Mike Williams, and Dwayne Allen, and so many others.

My coot buddy who went to law school there (grew up a scar fan) has finally admitted we are on a roll and are a top dog. The chickens who have been there through the zero loss season etc and who know football, IMHO will actually admit the truth in my experience. Now as far as our Tigers the next qwestion is who's next?!?!
