Ask him why did Carey Tate of REA Construction and Comer Distributing seem to disappear off the face of the earth? Very strange that when the lid was blown off those 2 we started having more success in Rock Hill.

Carey Tate was instrumental in getting stephon Gilmore and devonte Holloman from south pointe. Along with paying to get Clowney. to sc. There have been no superstars from the RH area, hence he has not been as involved with that program. Comer employed Clowney for a while, but he wouldn’t show up for work.

What about SC football is trending up right now? They are recruiting about the same as they did under Muschamp. They will have to continue to use the transfer portal to have a shot at 1 out of 5. Most coot fans know last year was a lot of luck.

Dang I keep up with all things Clemson and hear mentions of NewSprings but have not heard what their fans are talking about is the issue.
Always figured Chip Comer was a major player in getting those guys from SP. was surprised when
DK announced for us from Southpoint.

Interesting coincidence. Apparently no relation, but the first such effort I know of was The Souper Bowl of Caring. It was started in 1990 at Spring Valley Presbyterian Church in Columbia by their Associate Pastor(at the time I believe) Brad Smith. Brad just happens to be the son in law of former UofSC president James Holderman. Brad's organization (apparently he is no longer actively involved) has been run as an effective ministry for those in need.
