Since when do you lose a regular season game, against Pitt of all teams, and still get to play for the conference championship?
Clemson is not only lucky to have gotten to the playoff, but lucky beyond belief how many times 'Bama missed easy assignments.
Yeah, the ACC is a football conference; sure. We're all so convinced.
Somebody please wake up FSU from their nap, for they're clearly still hungover from the Winston Cup party.

1 - Since Clemson won the Atlantic and beat the Coastal champion in the ACC Championship game, that's when. It's simple math. Pitt wasn't in a position to play spoiler in the least.
2 - Missed assignments have a LOT to do with the superior playing level of the opponent, or did you not know that?
3 - 9 - 3 in Bowl games + National Champions. Yes, a football conference to be reckoned with.
4 - FSU ran into a Clemson buzz saw the last couple of years, otherwise they are in the thick of things.
5 - You're hyping the Domers 4 seasons into the future?? Have you lost your mind?
6 - Old golf adage "The harder you practice, the luckier you get" applies to lots of things in life. You don't play in 2 consecutive National Championship games on sheer luck alone my friend. Perhaps instead of casting non-sense dispersions on your rival for their real life success, I recommend a big heaping helping of introspection and self-awareness therapy for yourself.

I think you and Notre Dame should worry about beating Navy first before you make outrageous assumptions that y'all will beat Clemson. Or....How about Duke, the middle to lower end ACC team. But go head and think your comment or your always overrated golden domers are important. Im pretty sure those helmets are spray painted anyway.

Sarcasm, troll or whatever the intent of the original post, it does indicate that Pittsburgh, who defeated Clemson and was not one of the conference's premier teams, by extension, was better than any SEC team. Granted, no one can brag about defeating the Gamecocks, they are the patsy for all the other teams homecoming opponent. The all-mighty Red Elephants from Alabama couldn't contain the Tigers and the Tigers don't have to modify their status by calling themselves the "Fighting" Tigers. The Clemson Tigers attain their status on their own merits, not some sister team in the same conference. The Gamecock's DB King's performance of riding on the back of Mike Williams, is an excellent example of their riding on the back of someone else in an attempt to justify some degree of importance.
