Great win on the road! Announcers were really talking us up, which is rare in my lifetime.

And knocking CU FB to 2nd place..like the fake Judge Keller did umpteen years ago.
LOL..Not!
But congrats since this team reminds me of early ‘80’s and 90’s teams I enjoyed and of course the undermanned but scrappy 1960 teams in Fife who once in awhile beat a #1/2 Duke or UNC team or came crazy close.
Goo TiGERS..Rock!

Considering how we played, we were very blessed to win this game

Our defense saved us from a big L. Our offense was nonexistent today and we still won by double #’s!
Way to go Tigers!

We’ve seen so many poor games at UVA over the years, so I’ll take a 13 point win any way we can get in. No complaints from me.
Tony Bennet really had our number defensively.

Defense Travels thankfully.
To me: if the following players play up to what we have seen flashes of or throughout their career the Tigers could easily make a Final 4 push.
In this order as well:
1. Wiggins - most teams in college don't have a player with his athleticism at that height. He could be a mismatch against most teams in America. But, is too up and down in terms of being aggressive and wanting to be and carrying himself like he has those raw tools so few have. If he gets aggressive during tournament time and everyone else is still playing well - Clemson is "Different" good. 2. Lakhim - has to stay out of foul trouble and make good decisions with the ball. But, he has a very good skill set for a big. And, can extend the floor with his range. A hard guard for most teams. 3. Chase - must not have many more pedestrian games like he did today. Credit to the team for still beating a good UVA team who was playing well and with pride "without the leading scorer having a great day. That should scare people. Chase has to have that "I am a Senior and I am going to take over mentality". Not needed today; but in the tournament it will be.
Good win. When people like Horace Grant and Elden Campbell are being passed on a Clemson MBB list - you are doing something special.

My thoughts exactly. Grant and Campbell, based on what they did in college and in the NBA, are situated on the Mount Rushmore of Clemson basketball. Passing them gets any Clemson fan’s attention.
This Clemson team has impressed me in all the right ways. They have gotten better in the year. I cannot ignore what they are doing. Still a lot of basketball to be played, but they have not faltered in the ways that we have become accustomed to over the past 45 years
One bad game in the ACC and NCAA and they will be soon forgotten. But if they keep playing the way we see them playing night after night, they have the chance to be really special.
Forget the unspeakable loss to the gamecocks, this team has beaten North Carolina, Duke, and Kentucky in the same year. For those of us above the age of 60, just think about that for a minute.

My dad was in USAF…when he retired we moved back to Anderson when I was 13 (parents were from belton)…I had 2 best friends who’s dad was an engineering prof at Clemson. We sold programs at football games mostly dominant w Danny ford and an incredibly good man team w Colon Abraham and tree Rollins. This year is looking better!!!
Go Tigers!!

Those were great teams, and onward into the Larry Nance years. Bill Foster was a great coach, who had some great teams!
Let's all hope this team can keep winning!!!
Go Tigers!
