I thought you were going to compare our score yesterday to the last time the coots played the Citadel in 2015 when the Cid won 23-22

Now do score by quarter bc SCAR was sleep walking in the first half. They had to use depth and wear Wofford out to blow the game open.

Did you really just put down Carolina at averaging 9 yds a throw...without mentioning they only completed ONE pass?! Gosh, this comparison just might be a little more subjective than it appears....9 yds per pass? Really? They were 1 for 9...with an interception....skew your stats much?

It's odd to get mad at listing stats. I just copy and pasted them. No skew.

I didn't say any opinions or conclusions about them. You should ask yourself why it makes you upset.
They were 3/11 passing. So if they bust a big one... math is math. I didn't invent math.

There's nothing about sports that makes me upset. I just didn't let you get away with making an intentionally false inference...by saying that the Citadel "averaged" 9 yds per pass while leaving out the much more significant stat..that they only completed ONE PASS..the whole game...for 9 yds. You couldve also said.." Citadel averaged 1 yd per pass play on 1 for 9 passing"...that's a much more revealing stat. Your description is simply deceptive.

It's not a false inference. It's called math. That's a stat. I didn't make it up

I didn't give a "description." I copy and pasted a statistic. Maybe you want to add a bunch of context to it.
They had 11 attempts. They completed 3. They got 99 yards passing total. That averages to 9 yards per attempt. If you want to get into an argument with the existence of math I'm not sure where to direct your call.

Since the Citadel beat Wofford 30-17 maybe those numbers would be reversed. All is apples and oranges and it makes no difference in the game with the coots. The chickens are a fraud.

Also, I didn't watch the coot game, but I assume we subbed more 2s and 3s than they did for longer than they did. Regardless, hate to say it, but gonna be a tough game.

I didn’t watch the coot game, but looking at the stats, it looks like they played their starters almost all game. You can’t compare the two games after halftime really, I’d look at first half stats only before the 2nds and 3rds came in. We dominated during that time on offense, but gave up a ton of yards on defense.

So you believe in the transitive properties for CFB? Interesting as that was proven to be bad theory ages ago

Stats against these teams are meaningless. The competition is inferior. I can’t believe you took the time to put all that together

lol, beating FCS teams means nothing. Clemson didn’t even have a game plan for the citadel. It’s like playing the neighbors kid in horse. You don’t wanna make him feel bad so you at least let him get an “H” on you.

If you like stats, it’s interesting that Clemson is superior statistically to South Carolina in every way, except for “total defense”. South Carolina is not in the top 10 in any defensive category. They’ve only played one top 10 offense and got slaughtered. We will be the second best offense they’ve seen all year

Clemson up 35-0 at the half and could have won by 70. Why humiliate The Citadel?
