I hope the playoff selection committee will keep in mind that were just a few plays away and that the refs were out to get us this season.

If the poll is based on past accomplishments, yes. If based on .os recent wins/ losses: absolutely not. We saw our coach celebrate a 1 point gift win by the other undeserving of a win team as though they had just beaten an undefeated #1 team for the natty. I don't think Dabo was that excited after winning his 2 natties. Actually embarrassing as a 5-5 program hoping to beat up on FURMAN to become bowl eligible for all of the regular 20 CW TV viewers to watch.
That celebration shows just how far we have fallen.
