Come on. "Edges"?

We led the entire game. They got within 1 score once, but never had the ball within a score.
I'd say we more than "edged" them

Heck, I'd even say 15 points could be "edging" a team

If the whole game was nip and tuck and close throughout only for the gap to widen at the end.
This wasn't that.

otherwise we were whipped on the line scrimmage, could not get a run game, and were hoodwinked by their offense as the game wore on. The defense was a real sieve tonight. If Cole were the QB the whole game, we would have lost this game.

I do. Watson made 7 or 8 throws tonight that Cole is physically incapable of making.

Totally agree Silva......weak o-line. Defense played descent the 1st half. Watson won the game for us no doubt. Thanks Mr. Watson!!!!!

Re: Ok Ok who locked the defense in at halftime

Offensive line wore their tutu's most of the night when trying to open holes. Surely a different defense came out 2nd half. Please don't go back into thinking it's ok just to outscore someone. Really, what happened to the defense 2nd half?

Keep "3 and out" Stoudt out of meaningful game situations and let the players who are in Clemson because of FOOTBALL scholarships carry the ball. Million dollar man makin those silly a$$ calls.

Defense fooled at line of scrimmage at least once. NC on 4th and.short stacked the line for apparent run play. Could see from stands that 1 receiver broke loose clean and.caught TD pass. 2nd time, same scenario, but didn' t score. Offense very anemic and could not.open running.lanes.on either side for backs. Run and.pass blocking still needs a lot of work. Stout 3 and out and interception kept the game close. Surprised NC did not try onside kick late ( 5:35 left in game) to get it with in 7.
