This whole warning teams for trash taking is a total joke.
What goes on in basketball and football is 10x worse.
Ncaa instead of figuring out how to manage regulate the nil, is making this sort of stuff a priority. Complete incompetence!

Not that long ago, any type of showboating at all was seen as breaking the baseball unwritten rules and widely frowned on.
Now it’s commonplace and people have gone the other way. Now complaining when it’s curtailed at all?

I hate that kind of crap. I chew my kids butts out if they ever show boat or talk crap to opponents or refs. Often their coaches dont say a word about it but that kind of crap isnt flying in my house. I'll jump on them if they don't!

WWF and the entire wrestling scene with the gravely voiced insults and psychotic, narcissism that goes on has permeated the entire society and all sports have fallen into the trap. All that fake bravado slowly seeped into all sports. It is hard to teach youngsters good sportsmanship and that trash talking and gestures are wrong when they turn on the TV and it is all they see.

Yeah they need to lay off that. As a product, college baseball is amazing and terribly underrated. Its just catching on more with streaming availability.. the last thing it needs to for rules to make the players boring.
