Mike Young will finish his 6th season with an ACC Championship and 2 NCAA tourney appearances (back to back). It took Brad 8 seasons to make his second NCAA tourney. Assuming we make the tourney this season it will have taken 15 seasons for him to go back-to-back. Something Mike achieved in season 3. Brad and Mike will have very similar win/loss records through those 6 seasons. So should VT double down or naw?

You really think he is going to win the ACC this year? OR am I misunderstanding your statement? At 8-11 I really doubt VT is a player this year.

Yup. It'd be nice if this had names. I know jk, nctigs and others probably know, but I don't pay enough attention to the coach to know who's who.
Criteria would be nice as well. As would a history list. I know the NY times, athletics sites rated coaches by tiers. They have Brad as tier 6 in a 1-7 tier rating, with tier 7 being coaches that'll be fired. Anyway, good news that he moved up.

And their full faces would be nice. It is an eye chart and hard to tell who some of them are. How were these ranked

He has grown on me. I have mentioned average for years and even quit watching for years. Like any coach some things make you scratch your head, but I have changed my thoughts on the guy. He is not a bad coach and seems to love his job and Clemson. It’s tough to win at Clemson for whatever reason, but it’s not like we have been an historical powerhouse. Making the main event most years should be a legitimate expectation for this program. Will continue to pull for him to be great seeing he is the head man.
