Clemson's Staff Compensation 3rd only to LSU and Texas.

But the head coach is barely cracking the top 10. That's a great indication of the investment Coach Swinney has made to build a winner. And with the new contract it seems the investment has paid off for us and for him.

I want to congratulate our staff for not succumbing to that nasty cramping issue that LSU has too.

Absolutely! Seems Dabo is a frugal man and doesn't mind sharing the wealth to obtain his goals. For me I don't think I could make it on 3 million + myself!

I think the fact that Dabo has never been a coordinator

will keep him from achieving the most elite status. He is a VERY rare situation.

Well you cant say he has not put his right foot forward and made good progress since becoming a head coach (without being an OC). And when he finishes here, he to will probably sit back buy a farm near Clemson and do as he pleases!!

Staff compensation is a good investment in stability

And if assistants coaches do move on because of opportunities, it makes the positions more attractive for candidates.

Like the saying goes, Build it, they will come. Who ever thought we would have the top rated QB in the country at Clemson when Dabo was made HC. Dabo!!! I think that the buy out if Dabo wanted to leave is to cheap. That should have been at least 10 mil. Dabo is worth that to us in just recruiting.
