I got a TD just for posting CBB’s win percentage over the past few years. Total meltdown by the Lunatic Fringe, and I love it.

All joking aside, this is a year we can break all of Clemson acc bball records. It's there for the taking. Less Duke and unc, no reason we can't finish 3rd this year and make some noise in the acc tournament. Definitely the weakest I've witnessed in the acc in my lifetime.
Our ooc schedule is setting up to be pretty weak also. Should be one of those 12-2 type years headed into league play.

I actually see our non-conference schedule as being pretty tough.

I don’t buy the logic about ACC being down. We heard that last year, only to have three ACC teams in the Elite Eight, and two in the Final Four.
Don’t let a few early season losses discourage you about the ACC. This isn’t the 80s when the ACC played a bunch of scrubs in the non-conference for easy wins. Plus, with the transfer portal and early entry into the NBA, a lot of teams are dealing with a lot of roster turnover early in the year. The ACC will be a strong conference this year.

More horse crap. Having your 3 best teams, representing 1/5th of your league, actually be good does not mean your league is competitive. I’m sure you’d be glad to explain the concept as it applies to football. The ACC has been down for years and is finding new lows this year. And no, our first five opponents are not more competitive that normal, or previous years. I already posted a sampling of our previous five coaches first 5 opponents and it was essentially the same. USC, Bellarmine, and The Citadel will all have RPIs below 200 when all is said and done. Brownell has never made the NIT much less the NCAA with a loss to a sub-200 RPI team. He already has one this year (assuming South Carolina ends up there). You love to point out good programs get upset all the time. But the reality is they don’t lose to sub-200 RPI teams. Once in a blue moon, a Duke or UNC loses to a team in the 75-125 range. Brad loses to sub-200 team more seasons than not. He’s probably lost more games of that category in 12 seasons and 3 games than Coach K did in his entire career.

Yeah, you're probably right. Just watching not only the losses but the close wins against competition that should be getting blown out. Only time will tell but I do think we have a better than average year's chance of finishing really strong in the acc. Kinda ticked that fsu lost to Florida. And I think fsu has a lot of injuries.
Premature thinking. We'll know more mid December but I think it'll be one of Brad's better teams and would be a good year to finish top 3rd of acc and a better than average chance to have a great record going into conference play. 22 wins is what I see us finish the regular season.
