Speaking to consistency, a concept CM refuses to grasp, the bottom 3 teams of the ACC (very bad teams) have 4 wins combined against the top half of the current conference standings. The bottom 3 teams of the SEC have zero wins against the top half of their conference. JK and CM will weakly argue that Louisville beating Miami or giving Clemson a game means we’re a deep conference. It really means we’re just a bunch of middling, vulnerable teams that might play great one day but can lose to anybody. The best teams avoid these pitfalls.

wins and losses against ACC teams are perceived differently than wins and losses against SEC teams and the impacts on the metrics (RPI, NET, KPI, SOR, etc.) more than supports that.

Does it? Is that why the bottom three teams of the ACC have a combined zero wins against the top half of their league? Now do the ACC were the 13th place team, who has a NET ranked equal to the worst team in the ACC, has wins over the three ACC teams projected to make the NCAA tournament. The ACC is a garbage basketball conference as are your basketball observations.

I’d never bet against Clemson. Also I’ll never bet on Clemson basketball to cover any spread. Much less against a real coach on the road.
