Clemson listed as a wildcard team by Athlon Sports

The Tigers are going to be one of the best teams in the ACC but how good could they be nationally? There is a lot to like about this team with star quarterback Deshaun Watson and overall depth that’s as talented as any team in the league. But this team only returns two starters on defense and four on offense. Lastly, offensive mastermind Chad Morris is now coaching at SMU. This team could be an ACC champion and Playoff contender — or 8-4.

I don't think this paragraph is too far from the truth, except for the fact that they say we only return "4 starters on offense"??? Huh?

Exactly, I mean depending on TE, and Humphries spot technically we lose only 4 starters, and I respect Humphries a lot. But I'm not stressing his spot or TE. So just the 3 on the OL, but I think we are making strides there to be better this year than last season. Not quite sure on his math of returning on 4 starters on the O.

that we can survive the loss of Morris. The Athlon guys probably missed the Oklahoma game!!!
The OL must solidify by the L'ville game however.

We have pretty much 3 weeks to prepare for Louisville. I'm not too concerned plus they were a team with 10 draft picks last year, they are losing a lot of talent.

After we beat Louisville, ND and GT the whole country will know what's up. The Tigers will be 5-0 after those 3 games and ranked top 5

Just reading the author's summary of all those teams,sounds like he just swapped out the team names and rearranged some wording.Not that it's bad ,but he doesn't really commit to anyone and ends them all with the similar feeling of well they could be good or they could be bad. Almost like he doesn't want to upset a particular fan base so no real prediction. Thing is he is paid to have an opinion whether popular or not. And he should know how many starters a team has returning as others have pointed out. Just a "meh!" article.
