Great win for men's soccer program. I honestly don't follow soccer, but I will admit; I am becoming interested in the sport. Because, of our tigers!

my rec team plays in the play-offs tomorrow in fact. You'd love our unis ALL ORANGE!!!
I am the oldest player at 45 btw. Chasing 20 year olds around the pitch all season has been tuff and I hit the post about 5 times but scoreless. Looks like I will not match my 2 goals from last season.
Being old is tuff =).

I think I'm gonna go. KC is a great soccer town, and it's not often I get to see the Tigers out here.

Nope. They'll be at Sporting Park, where the MLS team plays.

GO TIGERS!

Played 4 yrs in HS and it is truly a beautiful game once you really understand and appreciate it. If you ever want to see something that rivals CFB in the Southeast, go to a European or EPL match.......utter insanity and passion.

I can imagine it would be fun to play but it sure is boring to watch. I mean, I can get excited watching just about any sport when my team is playing, so I enjoyed watching the game tonight. But, I can't sit down and enjoy watching any two teams play the way I can with basketball or football.
They could really improve soccer with a few rule changes. Doing away with offsides would make it much more exciting to watch. That rule is the equivalent of not allowing fast breaks in basketball, or long passes in football. Leave it to the Europeans to put in a sissy rule like that!

You can still have "fast breaks" and long passes in soccer, it just takes really good timing and a lot of speed.

A sport with no stops that's easy to follow when you're 5 sheets to the wind.
