Paul Strelow just said on WCCP that it's off field issues. Otre is now the guy they're after.

Would love to get him, but I think it's more important to nail down in-state legacy talent and steal Higgins from TN.

We have the potential to have Overton, Powell, Chase, Bell, Renfrow, Cain, McCloud, Thompson, Amari, Higgins, and Smith on the team all at the same time. That is unreal!

Ortre is a fine talent and I hope he becomes a Tiger. That being said, if we have a shot at the TOP TALENT, do you not want Dabo to make that a priority? I believe Robinson was even at Junior day, so I think it's fair we try to go after him until we decide not to for whatever reason.

Dang that sucks. That kid is a beast. He's gonna be a good one if he keeps his head on straight.

Anybody remember mike bellamy? Hurt us for a few yrs at rb (til gallman broke out) b/c of 'off the field issues'. Would rather have a high talent/high character guy than another super talent/no character guy

I remember Bellamy! I think he scored a TD first carry

He ever had and possessed incredible talent but just could not get it together off the field. He was my favorite player and if he could've just maintained discipline off the field he might've been one of the greatest backs we ever enjoyed here at Clemson

I attended a Prowl&Growl and Chad was there instead of Dabo.

Someone asked about Bellamy (this was right after he and Clemson had parted ways). Chad said that Bellamy "had never cast his shadow in a weight room" while in high school and said his arms were too weak to properly secure a football.
He seems like one of those guys who depended on his God-given talent too much.
