Clemson 2003 - do you really think it was over when they removed The Soldiers Flag from the States Confederate Monument? Her misguided actions have nation-wide implications and are spreading even to include desecration of a Vietnam Memorial. She accomplished nothing more than to embolden miscreants far and wide. Just today, the new Charlottesville Mayor moved to have the City remove holiday honoring Thomas Jefferson. Yea, just a flag. She is going to leave on hell of a legacy though now that her national career is in ruins.

My great great grandfather fought under the flag that sits at the top of the SC capital dome, not the one of the army of northern Va. Didn’t matter: He got killed at Petersburg. Fortunately for me, my great grandfather was one year old at the time.

I agree that the flag should have been left at the state house. The Flag represents an era in history that should be remembered. History forgotten is bound to repeat its self.

Telling us what to do. Can’t stand carpet baggers trying to impose their will on our state. But the governor made the right call at the right time. I suspect those church victims would have liked for the flag to be removed. I’m only sorry they had to die to make it happen. God rest their souls. God bless Nikki Haley.
