Clemson announces 2021 Rowing schedule

Clemson, S.C. -- The Clemson rowing team has released its 2021 schedule, as announced by Head Coach Stephen Fraizer Wong on Friday afternoon. This season, the Tigers are set to host four home races in addition to the ACC Championship.
Clemson will open its season on March 6 when it hosts the Carolina Cup, marking the fourth consecutive season that the Tigers begin the spring with the event. The Clemson Invitational will be held on April 17 and 18. For the 12th consecutive year and 19th time overall the Tigers will welcome conference competitors to Lake Hartwell for the ACC Championship on May 15 and 16.
Home events will be limited to student-athletes, staff and official personnel only. Fans will not be permitted.

“When I die, I want to be buried up there on that hill (Cemetery Hill) behind the stadium,” Howard was known to say. “I want to be there so I can hear all those people cheering my Tigers on Saturday and where I can smell that chewing tobacco in every corner of the stadium. Then, I won’t have to go to Heaven. I’ll already be there.”

and I think what Coach Howard says is as close as a gift from heaven as anything football related could be, attempt (because you will fail) to do just one day's work these young women do, and you will look at rowing with greater respect. Rowing is pain.
