This just looks like that twitter handle's request, what he's hoping for. Not anything concrete.
He says a "signal" is needed, and is pleading with the B1G/Fox to send the "signal". I don't read that as FSU or Clemson is imminently going to announce leaving.

You're right that I don't want Tech to get left behind. But that's not why I posted what I posted.
I do think that eventually Clemson & FSU & some other teams will leave the ACC, and the conference will collapse. I doubt it happens this year, due to the GOR. But it will eventually happen. It wouldn't surprise me if FSU backs off this year, and spends another year or two getting their ducks in a row, along with Clemson, and then an announcement occurs in '24 or '25.
Regardless of what happens or when, Tech could be in for a rough ride for a while. We're paying the price for decades of underinvestment in football. I've accepted that a bad outcome is likely to occur wrt Tech.

Maybe you should have done the right thing and instead of sticking that hand out and counting your money made off Clemson’s success, you could have tried to improve your football program and brought something to the table.

Someone close to the situation with knowledge says ESPN is brokering deal. Just trying to work out the money. Both conferences want both Clemson and FSU. ACC could be told tomorrow and it would be effective next season. All I know. Take it for what it's worth.

Then, if ESPN is brokering the deal, that can only mean one of two things:
1) They're staying in the ACC, and something is being done to make the TV contract "better" for Clemson & FSU.
2) They're going to switch to the SEC, and ESPN is working out something to make both the SEC & ACC happy.
There's no "brokering" by ESPN if the B1G is involved, as ESPN only stands to lose their best 2 ACC products in that scenario.

true and while I don't like the BIG 10 I do enjoy it if ESPN is being left out. ACC should have pursued FOX much harder when the ACCN was set up. The whole GOR and ESPN owning half the network shows they had way too much power in this deal and Swoff did a poor job. He probaby at least looked out for his Raycom son.

I highly doubt ESPN is facilitating an exit for anyone to go to the B1G since their competitors have the broadcasting rights for that conference.
If it happens at all, it will be the SEC since ESPN has the rights to both the ACC and SEC and they could work something out that makes sense for themselves and those conferences.

Well, IF it happens and a big IF. Then, that mean's F$U has found something that makes breaking the ACC contract "possible" and they have an offer from the B10. ESpin is then trying keep F$U and Clemson under their umbrella so that would mean going to the SEC. The ACC can then pick up Stanford, Cal and SMU and ESpin comes out ahead.
