Clemson 21 (we will not rush for over 100 yards)
LSU 35 (only because our defense has major holes)

quarters. I don't think It's a fair assessment to assume that the Clemson O is a tremendous ace in the hole. I think Clemson can very well win this game, but if the score goes over 35, LSU might not be able to hang. Clemson's D might be miserable, but LSU's O has a tendency to shoot themselves in the foot. Don't look for a high scoring shoot out. Realistically, I think 41-31 is a realistic score if Clemson is to win. If LSU controls the ball, 28-17 (LSU) wouldn't surprise me.

LSU completely shut Manziel down when we played A&M on the road.

They beat A&M, who has a offense that performs against SEC competition. Clemson won't score more than 14.

That's what was said prior to the coot u game...Clemson doesnt need a win to get respect, just need a strong showing and cant get blown out. Sorry but Clemsons d cant handle LSU's running game and their d is better than USC.

I think this is a solid match up for clemson. But the OP is delusional if he thinks y'all score 48. LSU is going to pound the ball with a stable of backs. I can't imagine a game where Mett is airing it out. Clemson may win, but you won't have the ball enough to score 48.

Folks I'm sorry but have to ask. What makes you think we can do any better sgainst LSU's defense than we did vs USuC's? Also in 2nd half USuC's O wore down our D and we couldn't get off the field. Why will this be different?
Hope we win because we need it badly for reasons too numerous to mention but I just wonder>

LSU's athletes are far too good to let that happen. They're quietly (despite massive praise for the SEC) one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the nation in my opinion solely due to to the immense talent on defense.
If we want to have a chance at winning, we're going to need to do the exact opposite of what we did against carolina: we need to get the ball out of the enter of the field and let our athletes outside get LSU flying to the outside...then hopefully that'll open up space for a big game for AE...
Regardless IMO this is a game where the pass will need to set up the run. Try to make them fear the outside game....
Even then it's a tall order because we may be facing the most athletic all-around defense in the nation. Those boys are nuts.
Still, go tigers!!!

Clemson rushes for 150 it's a CU win...also, scar has a much better pass rush than LSU which cost us when we abandoned the run with the lead. I think this game will be high scoring similar to FSU game. Their QB isn't a running threat but I thought that about Dylan Thompson too.

Nothing wrong with having hope but clemson will be hard pressed to score 17. Lsu will show up as will the lsu fans and you will see another elite sec defense. A line below 7 points is free money for the taking. It could get ugly.

"ugly" with most football teams, including our level of play. Of course, I've seen "ugly" with the play and subsequent losses by SCAR, LSU even the mighty Bama. Clemson fans will, also, show up for the game, and although we may indeed see another "elite SEC defense," we may just as well see a Clemson team rise to the occasion and find it within themselves to win. Maybe fans of other teams will direct their efforts toward their own games and hope they themselves aren't embarrassed by a loss that was predicted otherwise. It could possibly get ugly for them, too.

We did give up 35 to Ole Miss so its possible ya'll score a lot but I doubt it. We will run it down your throats and pass just enough to keep less than 9 in the box.
Remember 7 of the points we gave up to Scar was set up by an int. return to the four...
You are going to need to win the TO battle...probably by 3. Otherwise your chances are slim.
