Now would be a good time to make your voice heard. I'm contacting DRad via his email to make my voice heard b/c why should the Palmetto Bowl, UGA-GT, FSU-Florida, & UL-UK have to pay the price b/c out conference commish wants to kiss ND's ***? Doesn't make sense to me. A season w/o Clemson vs SC isn't a real season IMO.

There is no state law. Even if there was, what exactly would be the punishment for not playing? What if the season were fully cancelled?

That's the current status of the "law" some people think exists. BTW if in some twisted universe we joined the SEC the Coot game would have to be scheduled out for a few years due to division rotations.

I agree with you. The plus one game is supposed to be for rivals. The Notre Dame Athletic director stating “ we would be the plus one” has really ticked me off. We need to give them Akron and the others. Tell ND to join the conference or take a hike.

The decision to include ND really doesn’t have anything to do with us not playing Scar.
Even if ND was not in the picture, I assume “conference only” would still exclude Scar.
That said, I agree with you the rivalry games absolutely need to be played if there is a season. DRad needs to find a way.
Covid is real, serious and we should all wear masks. But there are risks in life. I took a risk last year going to Willy B and sitting amongst the coot fans. Who knows what illness I could have picked up there? Especially in the parking lots. I did avoid tailgate sex sections to limit my risk.
