Ok, current ESPN Sportsbook Odds

- Clemson: -3 (opened at -2.5)
- Clemson: u56.5 (-110)

So, Vegas thinks we win the shootout by a field goal. Like 30 - 27 or something like that.

I'd be happy with that! All though I don't know if my heart can stand it.

Key Clemson factors (IMO)

- CK2: poise. If CK2 is poised and ready to go, I am confident we win by at least a touchdown. If he starts shaky (see Trevor Lawrence in many a start) we are in for a close one.
- Clemson Running game: who gets the touches? How do we fare? We will need to have an aggressive game plan on offense and I'm excited to see who emerges out of the backfield
- Defense?!?!?! The Tom Allen era begins. How will we look? It will be nice to throw LSU for a bit of a loop as they really have v little film to go off of (ofc can look at old PSU but that's old hat). Can we stop Nussmeier? I have a good feeling TJ Parker is going to be all up in the backfield.
- Home crowd: this we can control. Valley will be rocking. Let's get after it until the final whistle!

I'd say everyone is betting on Clemson and the bookie want the money evened out.

The organizers of gambling don't make money betting, they make it by having the %%% amounts being even. Such that, if they have millions bet that a team will win they want a million bet against that team to cover the number. They get a percentage rather than picking a winner.

Picking a winner is gambling, the bookies don't gamble, they play the sure thing and that's their cut of the bets.

Only a fool would let the money get lopsided. He would make a ton if the big money lost but lose his money if the general public was right.

I expect ESPiN to keep pushing LSU until the money drops back to even. It's in the nature of the network. They want all eyes on the game.

I expect to beat LSU but Dabo isn't one to blow someone out that early in the season. He usually waits until we play the coots to turn the dogs loose.
