of a cocker....How many of you guys cherish the days when you used to walk a good 15 miles or more over cutovers and swamps carrying a 7 lb. shotgun(well mine was only about 6 and a half..I had a little Remmington Special Field in .20 gauge) behind your setters...and then when you finally got back to the house....YOU HAD a good 30 to 45 minutes removing the dadgum things from their fur so they could sleep easy.....

Fond Memories that are long gone for Ole Spud....

cotton rows pulling up cocklebur and anything else that wasn't supposed to be growing. I'm still amazed i never pulled up a snake.

ME, TOO!! And after hours and most of the field traversed, my dad would ride up and point out the one weed - two feet taller than the cotton - in the middle of the field that I walked right by!!

This fella picks up a chest and tail full of them every time we hunt.

I used to pick them out and finally just started carrying scissors.
