Asking people if they thought the Virginia Tech TD should've stood
10,000 votes in and 70% of people said the call should've been a touchdown

Stop spewing this ignorance. It doesn’t matter that it was ruled a catch…if the video evidence shows it was NOT a catch, the call is reversed. In this case, there WAS indisputable evidence to overturn the call. No one saw possession of the ball. Including you.

and there wasnt enough evidence to overturn. meaning it should have remained a catch. if the ref took that long then its clear it wasnt obviously incomplete

If no one saw possession, how can it be overturned?

Or did you mean that everyone saw he never had possession?

said there was not enough evidence to overturn the call. You say he didn't have possession and I say he did. Therefore, there is no indisputable evidence since we are in the process of disputing the call.

why do you say that?
After seeing two more views with more definition I changed my opinion to a TD...
He kept possession thru the ground, while on the ground the Miami player jarred it loose.. I originally thought the ball came loose on ground contact and the Miami player touched the loose ball, that would have ended the play as he was out of bounds.

I think the replay refs got it right, and arguably the game refs also got it right. If they aren't sure what the right call should be, call it a TD and let the replay refs overturn it.
VT should be kicking themselves for that stupid trick play, they really could have used those extra 3 points down the stretch.

No replay refs didn't get it right. No way during any of those replays you had undisputed evidence of call on field. None!

This! Their coach is to blame. The stupid fake fg gave miami the momentum. The Hokies never really got it back. Take that fg and then kick a fg to win it at the end. He is class A DA!!

The incomplete deniers must also be voting for Harris. You see what you want to see regardless of the facts in front of your face.
The VT player NEVER had control, he never had his hands on the ball when there were not other hands also on the ball. You have to maintain control through the play. Again, it's 10,000 % clear that did not happen.

how did you determine that? the fuzzy view on social media?
#9 came down with the ball; that is clear. Did he keep possession thru contact with the ground would be the only question... on that question it appears he did and the ball was subsequently ripped loose by the out of bounds Miami player...
see pics...
not enough to overturn the call....
