The "Chase pace" took a hit due to the flu on Saturday. Chase only played 10 minutes of the game and registered just 2 points.
Chase Hunter - 1587 career points
(10) Dale Davis - 1650 (9) KC Rivers - 1684 (8) Horace Grant - 1696 (7) PJ Hall - 1702 (6) Trevor Booker - 1725 (5) Jaron Blossomgame - 1733 (4) Greg Buckner - 1754 (3) Butch Zatezalo - 1761 (2) Terrell McIntyre - 1839 (1) Elden Campbell - 1880
Hunter is averaging 17.9 ppg this year*. If he keeps that pace, he needs the number of games noted below to achieve each career scoring ranking. We have 10 regular season games left, and at least 1 post-season game.
10th - 4 games 9th - 6 games 8th - 7 games 7th - 7 games 6th - 8 games 5th - 9 games 4th - 10 games 3rd - 10 games 2nd - 15 games 1st - 17 games
* For the purposes of trending, ppg excludes the flu game

Chase is a good player, but I honestly do not see him being in the same league

as anyone on that Top Ten list. He might scrape his way to #10, ousting the great Dale Davis.

Scrape his way to 10? He's on pace to finished 3rd.

Yes, that is correct - he's had more seasons than all the others. Zatezalo only played 3 seasons and he's 3rd all time in scoring.
Also, for context: Chase Hunter freshman season: 48 points (9 games, 4 starts) Chase Hunter sophomore season: 69 points (24 games, 4 starts)

I would think 2 post season games are guaranteed.

I'm not going to jinx that, so I'm being conservative on the number of games left. But yes, it is very likely that we have at least 2 post-season games, and it will be disappointing if it's only 2.

Thought you were supposed to get at least 38 in a flu game.

Chase is a Tiger, through and through. His years, especially the last four, have been fruitful. Thanks Chase, keep balling out.
True fans appreciate the effort and the growth he has achieved.
