Do you think he will stick around for a few more years? Or do you think he will transfer at some point before Trevor leaves? He’s good enough to start at other schools.

It'll be interesting to see how the competition plays out over the next couple of years, assuming DJ comes to Clemson. You'll have Trevor starting as a junior, then you'll have Chase, Taisun, and DJ. The QB room will be super talented once again.

a high likelihood that the #1 guy will leave prior to Chase's senior year. That would give Chase the opportunity to start at QB his senior year. I don't see him leaving until it becomes obvious to him that he is, at best, the third best QB on the team. He's had two springs and two summers in the system and a good bit of playing time in his freshman year. He knows the system. He's pretty talented and tough. He's going to be difficult to overtake by someone not on the roster yet.
Chase is only a redshirt freshman. It feels like he's been here longer. He is talented enough to win football games for us and I can see him doing that again before he is done at Clemson.

Chase is acutely aware that he is just one play away from being in the game at any time. And, given Dabo's record of playing lots of guys, he will play enough for scouts to see what he has anyways.

Watch the celebration at the end of the 'Cuse game and after the run to the 15 year line. That shows his emotions about the program. That was a Clemson man. That being said, if he feels he needs to go somewhere else, I will wish him luck...

Chase is good enough to start at MOST schools. His phone will be ringing this off season if it already hasn't. Hope he stays as well but betting other places are in hot pursuit....

I will be shocked if he leaves. He has already stated that if he could not play football, he would not want to be anywhere else. He is orange-blooded to the core. I think we get three more years out of him.
