Plus they are trying to build a strong following in Los Angeles. They are turning into the Clippers of the NFL in LA. They have a great QB and they are ready to take off. So many injuries though.

They need to get Harbaugh from Michigan. I know people have problems with the sign stealing thing, but he's won everywhere he's been and he would be a great mentor to Herbert.

Keeping him until the ship totally collapsed makes the Chargers look like total clowns and it ruins Staley's own prospects going forward.

A defensive coach that can't coach a talented defense and a guy who's fascination with going for it on 4th down absolutely killed him, repeatedly. Every year. The irony of failing on 4th down right before halftime leading to the Raiders 6th touchdown was so perfect.
