Worried about my wife.

Wife and middle son are running errands. Middle son is going off to camp next week, so wife went by the ATM to get him some cash. She wanted to give him $100 in $10 bills, for the entire week, but the ATM only spit out $20's.
So she calls me and asks how she can get those 5 20's broken into 10 $10 bills. She doesn't want him having large bills, or something.
I sweater goodness I asked her to repeat the question. She then asked me if I could tell the ATM at the bank with our other account she never uses, if that ATM will break the bills by choice. I said I don't think so. She was totally flustered.
I then (trying not to laugh) told her she can go into the grocery store, go to the customer service counter, and they can break the bills. Or maybe even a convenience store. The peanut guy, the farmers market she's going to, Wal-Mart where she's also going today......freaking ANYWHERE. She seemed shocked. She "didn't know they did that."

sense. My wife -- accomplished PharmD, smart as they come -- once asked if our gas fireplace was "real fire." I'm not 100% sure what she meant, but I'm 100% sure the question didn't need to be asked regardless.

when I'm at the bank machine getting $100 out I get $10s (BoA machines def dispense 10s, dunno about others). I just like the use of a $10 buying lunch or other small cash purchases. Cleaner or something to me, not really sure.
Plus they have an orange tint (really that doesn't matter, just notable).

It had threads of red and blue fibers in the paper. They interviewed some guy who was the best counterfeiter ever. He said he searched the entire country and found that phonebook paper was a nearly perfect match.

Don't feel bad. Over the weekend my wife told me she just realized Great Britain is on an island. This was the result of watching a movie, otherwise she'd still be fully on board with it being part of mainland Europe.
