CFP Committee should do a Final Ranking

after all bowl games & playoffs. It only makes sense. Why continue to leave final rankings to AP & Coaches' Polls?
With CU meeting LSU & ranked 3rd, suppose, God forbid, we get whipped really bad? Who can guarantee we don't get a final ranking BEHIND UGA (if Dawgs blow out Baylor)? Or an Oregon or even OHST? Even IF 1 of those DOES have 2 losses. All they'd have to say is, "Well, CU only played 1 game against a decent team & barely won that! UGA, Oregon, even OHST played much tougher schedules. A tougher 'body of work'."
Just saying, CFP Committee should see the process all the way through.

Try to worry about something important. Worrying about trivial crap like this will give you ulcers.

Also, try not to worry about other people who worry about trivial things.

Bama was #1 in FEI, S/P+ and F+ after their 44-16 destruction... Rankings and stats are meaningless.

Hint: CFP stands for College Football Playoff.

The sole, ultimate purpose of the CFP committee is to select 4 teams at the end of the season for a playoff. The only reason they have rankings is to ultimately arrive at these 4 teams. Once they do that, their purpose has been fulfilled, and they are done. They are not in the ranking or poll business, per se. They have no interest in or business in doing a final poll, as their champion has already been decided on the field. They don't care who is 3rd or 14th.

Really? Then why do their rankings determine (a lot) which teams go to the other bowls? Such as "highest ranked Group of 5" & such? They do a little more than only "seed the Top 4" for the playoffs.
You don't think Dabo would have something to say if a 2-loss team ended up ranked higher than us in the Final Polls? You must have more faith in the AP & Coaches than I.

Buckeyes will be #3 and natty will determine 1-2, nobody else gets higher than 4. We are fortunate that we've reached the point where anything other than #1 doesn't matter
