Was watching CFB Daily, and Jason Seahorn and Dari Nowka (sp?) were picking our game with FSU tomorrow. Seahorn talked about how FSU's defense was better than ours and ended up picking them. Dari said we have one of the most undervalued defenses in the country, and reminded Seahorn that we have only given up around 14 points a game for the last 5 games. Then Seahorn said, "What conference do they play in again?"
WTH is that all about. Guess what DA, FSU is in that very same conference. It's kind of funny that we have to deal with ACC bias from the talking heads even when playing another ACC team.

He is right ACC defenses are much better than those SEC ones that give up about 40 a game.

Yeah, VT gave up 35 points to Alabama, but their defense only gave up just over 200 yards. Since then, here's what Bama's done on offense to those great SEC defenses:
568 on A&M
434 on Ole Miss
668 on Kentucky
That means a puny ACC defense held 'Bama to 350 yards less then their average against the SEC so far.

special teams or defense. They had one kickoff returned for a touchdown, one punt returned for a touchdown and one pick six.
Of the 14 points they scored on offense, BOTH times they started on the VT side of the 50.

surprised how little attention CFB "experts" pay to CFB.
I really get the sense that ESPN people only watch ESPN so if it doesn't happen on that channel or isn't mentioned by another idiotic talking head, the others don't know about it...
