Call me crazy but...

I was a little underwhelmed by the whole Enter Sandman entrance. Saturday was my first time at Lane Stadium. The people were outstanding, the atmosphere and campus was awesome. I was pumped to see the entrance because I just love that aspect of college football. The students were all jumping and going nuts and then.... a song played and they ran out of a tunnel... I just didn't get the goosebumps that I was expecting. I guess I'm just spoiled by the Hill and the Rock and how well Clemson does the whole gameday experience. Another underwhelming aspect is the programs that VT had. I always buy one, especially when I go to a road game, just for a keepsake. Their program was like a small, free booklet. Not much effort put into it. Overall the trip (6 hour drive) was great, the scenery was very nice and I can't say enough about how nice and accommodating the fans were. I'd definitely go back to another game there. Maybe without such high expectations.

I'll second that, it did look cool on TV, that place was rockin'. I wondered why they cut the music off so quickly?

Yeah, you're always going to feel more attached to your team's entrance than another program's entrance.

Do you feel more attached to a chicken in jail, 3 fire shooting columns that don't shoot any fire, music stolen from a wrastler and setting off fire extinguishers like hundreds if not thousands of high schools do across the country?

I was only watching on tv, but thought it was cool. Little bit like Cameron Indoor with the jumping. For whatever reason, VTECH and NCSU programs have managed to not end up on my hate list yet in the ACC.
Just like Louisville, Tigers established dominance early and shut the crowd up. Will need to do the same up in Raleigh

grams, I liked that it was FREE and it game me some info on the stadium and the player rosters. Would love to have something like that at Clemson. If you want to charge for something nicer that's fine, but what they provided was very nice and appreciated by me anyway.

went crazy. Then the music just randomly stopped. It didn't fade out. Didn't transition. It just stopped. The best part of the whole ordeal was the crowd reaction. It could have been much better.
